A CDN Resource is a service for static assets delivery (like images, css files and video, etc.) from CDN servers. The CDN Resource allows to cache content on CDN servers at first user's request and store it for further requests. It minimizes latency and it decreases load on your equipment.
How CDN Service Works
- A user requests content from a website.
- SkyparkCDN finds a CDN server from which the content will be delivered to the user at the maximum speed.
- If the content hasn't been cached on this server, CDN pulls it from an origin source.
- Pulled data will be stored during certain time and deliverred to next users. Site owner can set cache expiration time at the origin or use Advanced Settings of the CDN Resource in the SkyparkCDN control panel.
